Frequently Asked Questions at The Law Office of David W. Polsky
Q: What if I am not sure I have legal case that is worth pursuing?
A: There are a lot of factors that need to be considered to determine if you have a case. I will always be willing to talk to you without any obligation or charge and give you my opinion if I think you have a case based on my years of experience. I have been admitted to practice law in New Jersey since 1991.
Q: Is there any charge for an initial consultation?
A: All initial consultations are completely free without any obligations.
Q: Do I need to come to your office for our initial consultation?
A: No- I give my clients the flexibility of having their free consultation in person, over the phone or through email. Clients utilize all three of these methods based on their individual situations.
Q: What are the legal fees you will charge me in a case where I suffered some type of injury?
A: I will handle these types of matters on a contingency fee basis. This means that if I accept your case, I get paid for my services only if I am successful in recovering money on your behalf. If I recover nothing, than there is no cost to you.
Q: What are the legal fees you will charge me for a Municipal Court Matter?
A: During your free consultation, I will assess the violations and facts surrounding your case, and charge a reasonable flat fee to handle your matter. There will be absolutely no additional costs or charges above this flat fee.
